Learning path

Core first, then Advanced

The recommended path is to complete SAP ABAP Core Training before joining SAP ABAP Advanced Training. This gives you the programming, Data Dictionary and output-technology foundation needed for advanced topics.

Learners with existing ABAP development experience can request a readiness discussion and join the Advanced course directly if the prerequisites are met.

  • Step 1: SAP ABAP Core Training — fundamentals, DDIC, internal tables, reports, dialogs and forms.
  • Step 2: SAP ABAP Advanced Training — OO ABAP, enhancements, interfaces, CDS, AMDP, OData, RAP and S/4HANA readiness.
Need a custom combination? Corporate teams can request a tailored ABAP program covering selected core and advanced topics. The courses remain distinct in scope and outcomes.
